
Dr. Sergej Schwarz
Dr. Sergej Schwarz, born in 1972, has been Chairman of the Executive Board of Carl Schenck AG since January 1, 2026.
He graduated with a degree in physics from Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg and subsequently earned his doctorate at the same university.
He began his professional career in 2002 at Schaeffler AG, where he held various management positions. Most recently, he held the position of Sector Manager Renewable Energies until 2016.
From 2016 to 2025, Dr. Schwarz worked at HOMAG AG, where he was most recently Chief Operating Officer (COO) with responsibility for key operational areas of the company.

Lars Künne
Mr. Lars Künne, born in 1978, was appointed to the board of Carl Schenck AG on May 1, 2025. Since May 2025, Lars Künne is also the CEO of the Business Unit Measuring and Process Systems of the DÜRR Group and the Managing Director of Schenck RoTec GmbH.
Lars Künne graduated with a degree in Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur / Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt.
His professional career began in 2004 at Schenck RoTec GmbH, where he held various management positions for 14 years. In 2018, Lars Künne took over responsibility for the North American market and served as President & CEO of the American company Schenck USA Corp. based in Deer Park, NY. After almost 6 years, he returned to Schenck RoTec GmbH in Darmstadt to take on global responsibility for sales and service.

Martin Heinlin
Mr Martin Heinlin, born in 1975, has been a member of the Executive Board of Carl Schenck AG since 1 August 2023. After training as a bank clerk, he completed his studies in business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and subsequently completed a part-time training course as an accountant.
Mr Heinlin began his professional career in 2003 at Mobilkom Austria in Vienna. In 2008, he moved to the Air Liquide Group, where he held various management positions in the finance department, including in Austria, France, North Africa, Germany and the Nordics.
Since 2020, Mr Heinlin has been Managing Director and Director of Finance & Controlling Europe Life Science & Environment at MANN + HUMMEL Life Sciences & Environment Germany GmbH.
Mr. Heinlin has been CFO of the Industrial Automation (IA) division of the Dürr Group since November 2023.
From August 2023 to November 2025, Mr. Heinlin was CFO of the Measuring and Process Systems (MPS) business unit of Dürr and Commercial Managing Director of Schenck RoTec GmbH.
Mr Heinlin has been CFO of the Production Automation Systems (PAS) business unit since October 2025.
